Hikaru Yaotome Fixed Bad Habit With Advice From Jin Akanishi^^
Hikaru Yaotome revealed in a recent interview that during his junior days he was able to fix a bad habit due to advice from senior Jin Akanishi.
"It was a habit of mine to sing and dance at the same time, always moving my body too much along the rhythm." According to Yaotome, he has never been able to fix the problem until one day Jin Akanishi told him: "For these sort of songs, you would look cooler if you could feel the rhythm in you, try not to move your body that much."
Even though it seems like a normal advice, Hikaru Yaotome named it as words that left a deep impact on him, saying that he'll probably remember it forever.
Girls' Generation On MTV!
Korean pop sensation Girl's Generation, otherwise known as SNSD and Soshi, recently performed at New York's famed, Madison Square Garden. Following their successful performance, the nine member girl group made time for a guest appearance on MTV News.
When the girls were asked about their performance prior to the interview, Jessica replied with: "performing at Madison Square Garden is a real honor, so we had a lot of fun yesterday.. it was real exciting". Tiffany adds onto Jessica's comment by describing the experience as "epic".
Seeing that the girls were overseas, they performed the english version of their latest single 'The Boys'.
To their surprise, the audience had already memorized the lyrics, despite it being released only a week before. Jessica says, "they all sang along, so we were really happy to sing it in front of our fans for the first time and we thank everyone for singing along."
With all of their efforts in the US being fruitful, Tiffany revealed that they'll be releasing a Maxi Single on November 19! From there, they'll decide if a full length album should be in the works.
As the conversation switch onto the making of the music video of 'The Boys', they spoke about the dangers of filming. The SNSD girls told MTV News how they had to be very cautious of where the pigeons were. Let's just say that an incident involving Sunny, a pigeon, and Winnie the Pooh (minus the Winnie) took place. If you catch my drift.
But apart from the pigeons taking aim at the girls, there were other hazards the girls faced. No matter how elegant and beautiful the scenes were of the falling rose pedals, it wasn't as effortless as it was portrayed. It was really hard to keep our eyes open during the rose petal scenes because they would use the same rose petals over and over, so I don't know how they got rid of the dust, but there was a lot of dust, Tiffany explained.
To cap off their interview, Soshi named five things both new and old fans should know about them.
The first and most important being that they consist of nine girls. "Impeccable" choreography was listed second. The girls are multilingual, having skills in English, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese under their belts was dubbed the third. Sooyoung adds that their "music is upbeat and living". Last but not least, their "amazing" teamwork which they're all very proud of.
You have to give them some props, for it's not easy working with 8 other girls. The girls accredit their harmoniousness to having grown up together. Whatever the case maybe, it works. Fans and the like approve, and are cheering you on girls! Hwaiting!
Girls Generation(Have Japanese Songs) ^^
Girls' Generation (소녀시대; 少女時代) is a nine-member South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2007. The nine members are: Taeyeon (the leader), Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun . They are often referred to as SoShi (소시), or SNSD (mainly outside Korea), the first of which is an abbreviation and the second an acronym of the group's Korean name So Nyeo Shi Dae (or So Nyuh Shi Dae). In China, they are known as 少女時代 (Shàonǚ Shídài; or Siu Nui Si Doi in Hong Kong) and in Japan as 少女時代 (Shōjo Jidai).
The group has released two full albums, two mini-albums, and various singles. Their 2009 hit single "Gee" holds the record for being the longest running #1 song on KBS's Music Bank, having held the #1 chart ranking for 9 consecutive weeks.[1] That year also saw the group winning various awards, including consecutive Artist of the Year (Daesang) awards at the Seoul Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, Melon Music Awards, and the Korean Cultural Entertainment Awards.
The group began a foray into the Japanese music scene in late 2010, with the Japanese remakes of their 2009 Korean hits "Gee" and "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)".[2] In Japan they are under the label Nayutawave Records, a part of Universal Music.
Predebut
The members were professionally trained primarily in singing, dancing and languages while a select few were also underwent further training in acting and modeling. Many of the members had already made appearances in magazine ads, television commercials, and small television appearances. For nearly two years, Korean websites speculated about which female SM Entertainment trainees would be placed into the groupxc
